I like the first design, but should have added a dark block to the centre.
I like to mix light, medium and dark in designs, and find it more interesting than I thought with just one of each rather than more of a mixture.

I like playing with contrast as much as colour, like the three shades of purple against a very pale background fabric.
Even with three different colours I would choose fabrics ranging from very light to very dark.
My favourite today is the second one.

Interesting. I have noticed that i am starting to use purple a lot. It was my Mum’s favourite colour, and I got to like it when I made my parents a quilt, and Mum got to choose the colours. I am going to have to add some different colours to some of the purple projects.
